One of the things I never understood as a kid was why most of my friends had these Christmas trees and all we got was this big candle (the menorah). Great memories, tho, Shebird!

Thanks for the wonderful link! I have been so busy, I haven't been able to come by and say "hello" and "thanks".
I wanted to also mention that I updated this post. I was able to find a small, but nice aluminum tree. Not the same, but similar. It has fiber optic lights, so we have been keeping it on at night just to watch the colors.
I hope you are stronger and healthier in the coming New Year and that you and Songbird and the rest of your family have a really WONDERFUL and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
