The Bird's in Flight

Well, it took a little longer than expected, but the new blog site is finally up and running. (Obviously, or you wouldn't be reading this!)

For now, don't expect any more posts than at the original, which will probably average out to one a day with most weekends off. (Gotta spend a little time with the family, or I'll go insane.) Hopefully Pops and "Lady" Songbird will make their presence known from time as well.

I haven't had a chance to do much design work on the site, so please bear with me. It may take a while, but I'll eventually get it all up and running the way I want it.

One other note -- PLEASE spread the word about the new address to any of the old readers you are in contact with. We had quite a few regular commentors, but since the old site was cut off so quickly I was not able to contact very many (other than the friends and family members from "real life," away from the web). If you see any of the old flock, point them back in our direction.
